Organisation

1st Stoke Row Scout Group is a recreational and educational charity.  The charity's principal objective is to operate the Scout Group registered with the Scout Association.

Operationally, the Scout Group is led by the Senior Leadership Team being Mike Seal as Group Scout Leader and Jordie Roberts (Scouts), Andy Robbins (Cubs) and Mark Davies (Beavers).

From a governance perspective theere is a Trustee Board consisting of a Chairman (Diane Lee), Treasurer (Lisa Dipper), Group Leader (Mike Seal) as ex-officio Trustees, together with other appointed or co-opted trustees. They are accountable to the Group Council for the satisfactory running of the Group. 

Committee

The Trustee Board exists to support the Group Scout Leader in meeting the responsibilities of their appointment as well as for:

- the maintenance of the Group's property and equipment

- the raising of funds and the administration of the Group's finance

- the insurance of persons, property and equipment

- Group public occasions

- assisting with the recruitment of Leaders and other adult support. 

We meet quarterly with an AGM once a year, usually in May.
